Davis Event Space is the premier wedding venue for your wedding in the Kansas City metro area. On Historic Harrisonville Square, Davis Event Space is conveniently located for guests traveling from various Kansas City metro locations. Our venue is about a mile from Highways I-49 and 291 and only 29 miles from 435 and State Line.

At Davis Event Space we have a passion for weddings and ensuring that your magical day is everything you have dreamed of. While this may be your first experience planning a wedding, we have over 7 years of experience and have hosted over 300 weddings.


Davis Event Space has preferred vendors that we work with, but we also offer the flexibility for you to work with vendors of your choice. Davis Event Space is here to help lower your stress and put you at ease. One of the ways we do that is to give you access to Davis Event Space for 12 hours on the day of your wedding and you choose your arrival time! This allows you to plan hair and make-up to be done on-site in the stunning bridal suite and have plenty of time for photos. There are a lot of decisions to make when planning your wedding and selecting the perfect venue is at the top of the list. While we recommend you have a wedding planner, you will love working with the owner, Jill. She will be here to help you throughout the wedding process, ensuring that your wedding day goes smoothly. Inside Davis Event Space

Davis Ballroom

Our industrial-chic ballroom is a beautiful canvas to bring your wedding dreams to life. Amazing natural light and historic brick walls allow you to choose the details for your wedding.


Our spacious, climate-controlled ballroom is large enough to comfortably hold up to 250 guests but is also charming for smaller wedding celebrations. Custom light fixtures with Edison bulbs and string lights create ambiance and elegance. Our custom built staircase, along with the cheers of your guests, will guide you into the ballroom for your grand entrance to begin your reception. When you are ready for the DJ to get the party started, our disco ball will bring your guests to the dance floor!


Our patio is a great place to take your drink from our custom-built bar and socialize with other guests in the fresh air. You and your guests will enjoy taking photos in front of the boxwood wall. Once the sun has set, the bistro lighting on the patio makes for romantic night time photos of you and your new spouse.


Guests with ADA requirements have full access to the ballroom, patio, and restrooms, which has lots of stalls!

Bridal Suite

Our Bridal suite is located on the second floor and includes a private restroom. There is plenty of natural light, which is perfect for hair, make-up, photos, and showing off your wedding dress. There is also a Bluetooth connector to play your favorite music while getting ready. Our Harlan Loft is also available to you and your bridesmaids while getting ready for your day. There is room for you to spread out, enjoy snacks and mimosa’s from Davis Event Space. Harlan Loft also has a sitting area with a chandelier and loveseat, which makes another great photo spot.

Grooms Room

The groom’s room is located on the first floor. There are hooks to hang suits, a couch to relax on, ottoman’s to store personal items, a full-length mirror, Bluetooth speaker, and a small refrigerator that can be stocked with beer from Davis Event Space. It is a great place for the guys to make a quick change before photos start.

 Amenities

When you book one of our wedding packages, you have access to full length tablecloths, disco ball, up-lighting, Davis decor, and ceremony arbor. We also have an amazing sound system that your DJ may tap into.

Wedding Ceremony Options at Davis Event Space

Davis Event Space offers 3 different indoor ceremony options to along with your reception.

  1. Traditional set-up, your ceremony is on one half of the Davis ballroom with seating for up to 160
  2. Oscar-style set-up, guests are seated at the same table for the ceremony and reception in the Davis ballroom with seating for up to 250.
  3. Small intimate ceremony upstairs in the Harlan Loft with seating for up to 30.


Want to get married at your church? Having your reception at Davis Event Space is the perfect compliment to your church ceremony.


Want to get married on your family land? Again, Davis Event Space is the perfect space to compliment your ceremony. Plus, we can be your back-up for inclement weather (we highly recommend a wedding planner/coordinator when you have an off-site ceremony).


Looking for an outdoor ceremony location? Harrisonville City Park and The Bin at Birdie's Boutique & Antiques are both nearby locations where you can have your outdoor ceremony and both are located within the Historic Harrisonville District. Plus, we can be your back-up for inclement weather (we highly recommend a wedding planner/coordinator when you have an offsite ceremony).
